Thank God for Manolos.

I just found these very odd creations, and my second reaction (my first was a confused gasp/gag) was to share with you fellow fashionistas.

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket PIKACHU!
PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket I totally saw someone wearing those on Monday!

If you want to see more, go here with caution.

My name is Fashion Fille, and YOU are my life.

mmhm, I have that one, too!

It's basically a fact around here that I'm obsessed with Justin Timberlake. I have been ever since I was like 6 or 7, when *NSYNC became my everything. He is sososososo hot, and that has not changed for years. I still have posters of him, bobble heads, and pillows, and more obnoxious ridiculous things like that. My screen name on AIM used to be mrsjustintimb! I still listen to *NSYNC, and Justin's solo stuff. My friends still think I'm crazy for loving him so much, but the heart wants what the heart wants...

When I first heard about the William Rast movies with the near-perfect Erin Wasson a few months ago, I started to star articles about it in my Google Reader. Well, finally, those movies are out. Justin is totally sexy, as for Ms. Wasson. There is absolutely zero substance and plot (so far), but the eye candy is enough for me to stick with watching them!

Ugh, I need help for my various problems, mainly shopping and JT....

Ever since I spotted dahling Blake (or was she being Serena?) wearing a crested blazer, I've been keeping my eyes open for a really awesome one. Well, I've found it!
Mine is gray, not black, with black trim. I am so uber excited about it and CAN'T wait to wear this fall. And winter. And spring. And summer. And fall....

Ok, I'm done being annoyingly excited and obsessive. :D

P.S. Does anyone know how I can customize my font colors, etc. on Blogger? I've seen it done, but I don't see any place to do this. Thanks in advance!

i'm out of control

I reserved today to work on some last minute school thingies. But, of course, I ended up going shopping. Twice. With both parents. And I bought things both times. Oh man, do I need help...

On a happier note, my purchases are quite fun!

These were all freakin' 70 cents at TJ Maxx...so that's just amazing.
I sense some layering with those lavender babies...

Now, the next buys are all from the wonderland that is Target. Seriously, there's nothing better.

I'm going to use this for my books during the day.

Yay! I've been looking for both of those styles!

Random cute and a little tacky, but fun, earrings on sale.

KNEE HIGHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love old people...

...Especially when they are brilliant and extremely talented.

That is the most quotable article i've read in a long time.

I just wanna squeeze her

This is awesome! She is awesome! AWWWWWWWW!!!!

(if you didn't know, i LOVE hello kitty. she likes when i call her hk.)

Oh, Blake. Why are you so gorgeous?

I talked about Blakey in the last post, and AZjeans put together this amazing look for less! We all know how much I love looks for less!

And, just because you lovely readers are so...lovable, I have another special treat for you: enter this keycode BTSDWM on azjeans.com to get an extra $10 off your purchase of $50 or more! That's pretty awesome. So you can look hot like Blake, save money, and have a sexy boytoy! Oh, wait...I guess Dan isn't really part of the package. :(

"we're soaring, flying...."

Yeah, I went there. High School Musical all up in your pretty faces.

I'm officially obsessed with my Minnetonkas. I was having some second thoughts about them, but now I love them so much I want to wear them forever without ever taking them off (which is a possibility because it's hell to remove those beauties! I was laying on my floor tugging at them!).

I'm disappointed with the feedback/ideas for reconstructing my teeshirts! Come on people, help me out with some diys!

I bought a pack of Hanes v-necks a month or so ago to tie-die at camp. Camp's over; I tied-died one shirt; I have 4 or so plain ones left. I plan on pairing them with high waisted and bandage skirts, along with my leather jacket (that I can't WAIT to wear this fall, by the way.). I want to reconstruct at least one of them, though, into a really awesome and original top.

I googled t-shirt reconstruction, but I didn't find anything worthwhile. Here is where you loyal readers come in:

I need suggestions! I would like a fairly simple diy for a totally rockin' reconstructed tee!

Thanks in advance!

absolute perfection

Is that not the most fabulous nautical blazer in all of nautical blazer history?! Of course, the stunning Blake Lively on the unfairly well-styled Gossip Girl is rockin' it with her perfect blond waves and barely there makeup. I WANT DAN!

OK. I'm done.

In all seriousness, the royal blue stripes and the purple look so amazing. The floral detail just adds beauty and I WANT IT! (and Dan :))

My latest (but not totally up-to-date) inspiration yields from many sources.

Gorgeous lace. These pictures give off such cool vibes. I'm jealous.

I wore this out for dinner. I started out with my jeans cuffed, but at dinner I was getting so bitten up, so I pulled my pants over my feet. I was to lazy to recuff after, so I just kind of scrunched 'em up.
I'm noticing that this is the type of outfit that definitely does not photograph well. I promise: I looked much chicer in person!

I love that comcast commercial! "MORE. MORE. MORE." "HOW DO YA LIKE IT, HOW DO YOU LIKE IT?"

My cousin bought me these for my birthday- i think i really like them! i have way too many clothes......

I wore a top with jean shorts and a short sleeve cardigan, with a belt, but I didn't take any pictures. Sorry!

Happy Monday!

This is interesting. Not anything I haven't seen/heard before, but interesting.

Congrats to all the bloggers featured- I'm insanely jealous!

I went shopping again today! I knew exactly what I was looking for, so I was extremely quick and efficient. I found a pair of brown riding boots at Aldo,:
As you may or not know, I have been looking for an affordable pair of Frye
look-a-likes. I think I succeeded, no?

and the Minnetonkas I have been lusting after:

I went to Urban after, and there was nothing that I wanted! How crazy is that? I always find something there.

Now what I am looking for is belts. I want a leather one that I can tie like so:
I stole this from Hand It Over...thanks Wendy! Tell me if you want me to remove it.
This is kind of an old trend, and I have been doing it, but I want a new belt to do it with. I thought that I could do it with any belt, but it isn't really working. Any tips for the type of belt this looks best with?

I also want a patent waist cincher. I know they are everywhere, but I haven't found the one I wanted yet.

My list of wants is forever growing...I'm so freaking greedy!

like whoa, like like whoa

Camp ended today. It's weird, I usually count down for certain occasions like this, but it just kind of suddenly arrived. On my way home it hits me that school is in 2 short weeks. Which is also really weird. I feel like I have so much freaking stuff to do before it begins.

The one big thing I really am excited about concerning school is dressing cute again. It wasn't really until a few years ago when I started to really commit to my fashion choices. I felt like such a slob everyday in my soffees and beaters, but there wasn't really any other way.

Well, it's over now, so one of my many worries is standing out: what should I wear for the first day/week?! Any suggestions? I know you haven't seen my fall clothes yet, but some fresh and fun general ideas would be awesome.

practice makes perfect

I went thrifting yesterday, if you can even call it that. We went to two thrift shops, but I don't really know what I am doing. At least not enough to call it thrifting. I found a bag I liked, and a skirt. I decided against the skirt; it just wasn't really exciting me that much. It was cute though- a suede (GIRLICIOUS! :)) mini with laser cut detail; a little Pocahontas. She is my idol, though. Has been ever since I was 3 when I wore a Pocahontas bathing suit everyday.

Anyways, I did end up buying the bag:
(more photos featuring the new member of my closet farther down)

I immediately saw it when I walked into the store. It's the perfect across-the-body little bag, and it was just $10. I know, I know, $10 is kind of a lot for you vintage shopping experts.

We went out for dinner later in the city, so I took it as any opportunity to dress up. But I ran out of time, and just grabbed some skinnies and threw on my gladiators that I can't get enough of.

I almost wore my rainboots yesterday! I feel like it just isn't time yet. I can't seem to find a perfect outfit with them where I won't look like a total twerp. Any ideas?
