streets paved in gold

Sexy. Leather. Messy hair. Well-placed layers with well-accessorized models. What else could I ask for? Right- nothing.

Shots from the Fremont Apparel lookbook- hot, right? The LA-based line is named after the movement that took place on Fremont Street- "one of old Hollywood's biggest playgrounds"- in Vegas.

The name "Fremont" is derived from the movement that took place on Fremont Street in Las Vegas. It was the 1st paved street in Las Vegas and the 1st to welcome resorts and casinos where people would escape daily life and getaway - one of old Hollywood's biggest playgrounds.

what's cookin'

I always forget how beautiful Kelly Osbourne has become since her awkward and not-so-stylish The Osbournes days. She looked amazing at tonight's Emmy's in Tony Ward Couture. She's a true style bombshell! Nice, Kel.

Western. Perforated. Acceptable height (heel and boot-length). Black.
And, they're cheap! Ya'll know how I love me a good dealio....

a handful of apartment beauty shots- not mine, unfortunately!
I've arrived and settled into my new and amazing home! I'm lucky enough to have a beautiful apartment with my hilarious friends in the best location- 10 steps off campus; in the heart of the town.

My clippings of Justin Timberlake, Andy Warhol, Isabel Lucas, Lara Stone, The Beatles, and a few sprinklings of shoe and jewelry porn, have been placed around my desk; my Mr. Brainwash posters are slapped on the walls, my sophisticated gray comforter is incredibly comfy (makes sense) and I'm so happy to be back at school.

I'll get some good posts up soon- pinky swear!

ew, packing :X

It will be the death of me.

I go back to school on Sunday, finally. Cannot even describe how thrilled I am to be heading back! I hope I'll be able to get some great outfit shots in this year... :)

I saw Eat, Pray, Love tonight and was unimpressed. The only commentary I have is: Liz loves her chambray (she wore it in the majority of the movie!), and JamesFrancoLet'sGetMarried.

What have I been doing in the past week or so? A whole lot of nothing. Practicing my creative cooking, wearing lace, zippers, and ruffles (what else is new?), admiring my new business cards, and compiling odd collages of myself thinking about myself. HA!

next month

The most important, glamorous, crucial, and fashionable month is about to be here. Yep, it's September. You know what that means! Fat, juicy magazines! Fall fashion weeks! Fashion's Night Out! (and, my personal fave, layers are once again possible.) Modelinia has a round-up of the most anticipated issues of the year- check out your faves and where they're showing up this year!

buh bye

beach weekend with maaa guuurrrls. be back soon!

THAT dress

I've gotten to the point where I have so little to do (besides playing GodFinger and screwing around with my faulty external hard drive) that I put off the things I forgot to do last week. I remembered, and I'm getting it done! Go me!

I went to see Arcade Fire last week in NYC, on my last night there. The show was incredible, the crowd couldn't have been more fun, and the energy of the band is truly like nothing I've experienced before.

Oh, and RĂ©gine Chassagne's dress was the bomb. (What? This is a fashion website, not a music blog!) All silver sequins, all movement, all fantasticness. I couldn't take my eyes off of her- could've been the dress, could've been the tambourine/accordion/keyboard playing and impressive dancing. Whichev.

sooner than we know

I miss New York and the endless streams of inspiration shot at me every stroll down the street. On that note, this gorgeous lady is getting me psyched for winter- what should I knit for myself this season?

Talk about inspiration! Swoon!

This collection quietly screams at me: "Fall is soon! Get ready for leggings, boots, scarves, layers." After a summer of no air conditioning living in NYC, I'm beyond ready for cool weather.

Eviana, nice job in capturing my October go-to outfit.
